The 2nd installment from the forthcoming Pubahs remix album BUttFUnkula and The Remixes From Earth (a title made up of words from their last 3 albums) this time features previously unreleased remixes with the legends Alexander Robotnick and Detroit's Aux 88. Plus the Pubahs own Mr O joins forces with the formidable Dynamix II. Alexander Robotnick best known for his hugely influential track 'Problems D' Amour' in the 80's that helped take the Italo Disco sound international remixes 'After School Special' which features vocals from Miss Kittin. Robotnick adds a bubbling acid groove that you can't help keep still to, he adds: 'I've always considered Detroit Grand Pubahs' work extremely interesting and still do. Paris the Black FU travels across different genres of 'Detroit Dance' as smoothly as a fish in the water, with a vision of 'global entertainment': from futuristic techno to rap-cabaret, he's always at ease and brilliantly creative. And he never does so as a mere exercise in style. After School Special once again confirms that. It's a beautiful song. I immediately loved both the lyrics and the music and I was glad to remix it. It was quite a challenge because the track is not really dance and I wanted to keep the parts of music I liked. I don't want to upset the content of a track totally when I remix it. So I did my best to keep the special mood that identifies it. I re-wrote much of the arrangement and gave more power to Ms Kittin's voice whose sensual melancholy I loved so much. Enjoy it!' Detroit infamous electro pioneers, Aux 88 highly significant in the birth of the Detroit electro sound with their seminal releases on Direct Beat remix 'Suture The Future', providing heavy kicks and serious dancefloor artillary that will rock any soundsystem. Finally Mr O from the Detroit Grand Pubahs remixes one of his own personal favourites 'Dr Bootygrabber' with Miami's godfather's of BASS, Dynamix II helping out with edits.
