With "Same Mind", Ingo Boss releases a mature album that unites electronically playful, harmonic and sensual music in a skillful way. This special sound is far from the pure club tracks that Boss normally releases as singles and remixes. More than a year after Boss' debut "3.652 Tage" on TopModel Records the successor "Same Mind" is now released on his own net label EUREKA. Ten tracks that oscillate between unsettling melancholy and deep felicity, but never lose their clear path. The different compositions create a futuristic sound galaxy where the contrasts between calm, muted melodies and dynamic, rhythmic arrangements melt together into a closed soundscape. Due to the sophisticated arc of suspense that pervades the whole album, the single tracks are linked together to form a merging sound layer. Just like his Ibiza summer hit "Little Eternity", released in 2003 on Cocoon Recordings, Ingo Boss labels the especially formative sound of his albums as "Fluffy Electronic Techno". With its long and hypnotic build-up, the title track "Same Mind" puts the listener into a trance-like state of mind already from the very beginning of the album. The album is rather author's music than pure Electronica, a title like "Mind Washed" with its synthetic 303 Acid bass line fitting perfectly into the overall picture. Dark, minimal tracks like "Hypnotic Morning" and "Unloved" are not only complementary with the futuristic Outta-Space tune "6AM" but also with the more House-orientated "Sweepspot", while "Disappointment" and "Your Sweetness" virtually wallow in the feeling of contrasting melancholy. With "Same Mind", Ingo Boss has created a great and touching sound experience. Each single track of the album reflects his strong affinity to electronic music, and the mix of relaxed, soft sounds with exciting and energetic soundscapes invites clubbers and nightlife lovers to a musical journey into an atmospheric, dense garden of sound.
