Let beats bang and bass rumble! Hailing from our hometown Helsinki, we’re happy to introduce you PZLD who makes dope beats with that lazer twist. 22-year old PZLD’s (pronounced ‘puzzled’) journey into beat making began when at the age of 11 he discovered some beat making software in a cereal packet (!!). Since then he’s been at it compulsively, using a boombap hip-hop template to bring in flavors from UK bass music, as well as jazz, funk and soul. ‘Never Better’ is his debut EP for Top Billin and hopes to bring a Finnish touch to the booming new instrumental hip-hop scene.
